DEVICE FOR CLEANING QUARTZ GRAINS BY FOAM FLOTATION
The invention relates to a technology for purification of quartz grains using foam flotation and can be used in the semiconductor, chemical and optical industries. The device for purification of quartz grains by foam flotation contains one flotation chamber 1 having a stator 2, an impeller 3 with blades and an impeller tube 5. The impeller tube 5 is designed to supply a circulating flow of processed pulp to the blades of the impeller 3 and contains a nozzle for mechanical air supply with the impeller 3 running. The impeller tube 5 has one hole 9 for supplying the circulating flow of the treated pulp. In the flotation chamber, a channel 6 is made with an opening 7 for additional circulation of the processed pulp, ending with a branch pipe 8 to direct the flow of the processed pulp into the hole 9 available in the impeller pipe 5. The invention makes it possible to improve the quality of quartz grains in one flotation chamber.
